Cycle Fabric was kindly invited to participate in Grimshaw Architects ‘Green Office Week.’ On the 12th of May as part of their Act On Purchasing day the great team there set me up with a table and display and I got to chat about the recycled saddles and textiles I use. Green Office Week there involved n a whole week of activities over the afternoon tea break to encourage employees to be more conscious of the offices environmental impact. It went further than that even encouraging them to keep themselves healthy by trading apples for sweets, bringing in a hybrid car for people to see under the bonnet and even a drive to keep the office plant alive. It was lovely to be included in the event and should be interesting to see what ingenious things they come up with next year to inform their colleagues.
